Benefits of running.

Six days to my next 10k challenge, here are some benefits of regular running.
Running every day may have some health benefits. There are studies that show running for 5 to 10 minutes each day at a moderate pace may help reduce your risk of death from strokes and heart attacks. However a words of caution; running is a high impact exercise and overtraining can lead to injuries such as stress fractures and shin splints.
